After contacting PCW early this year it was quickly realised this was the wheel choice for me! being a larger rider of 196cm tall, 100kg and a Time trial specialist i have broken or bent practically every wheel set i have tried in the past few years including some of the well known brands out there.
so was really struggling to find a company that could cater to my needs, Marty was super helpful and put up with a barrage of questions from me (sorry Marty) and i eventually ordered a set of 6560 and the Blur 633.
WOW is the first word that i can say!! The 6560 are Epically strong (UK roads test anything to its limit), super stiff even at full sprint they don’t budge! they have already taken some big hits and breezed right over them no issues, miles better in the crosswinds that most i have ridden not to mention they look amazing on the bike’s.
i had a few questions and within a few hours i was talking with the actual wheel builder bill mould! i mean what other company does that! just brilliant service.
Then we get to the Blur 633, again a reel master piece in build quality, super fast,clean and aerodynamically one of the best i have tested. built the same way as all the PCW wheels its very strong and inspires confidence when on a TT to really push the line.
My overall experience with PCW has been outstanding, 5 stars, 10/10! even being 4000 miles away i feel like the service is just round the corner! i am in the processing of ordering the 4540 for my gravel bike and my team are looking at these wheel for next year so i’m a massive fan.
